I've heard him spoken of in high regard. Unless he has a reason to stay home I'd imagine it's wasted effort to pursue him. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to send an offer on a slow day I just don't think they've had many of those at this point.

He has no offers though. I don't see how jumping on him early will hurt. Also, they have Coach Stoops there whom Coached A.J. I feel YSU has many reasons why A.J would choose YSU. 1. He has kicked on that field his HS career. 2. Coach Stoops. 3. He has said he enjoyed the YSU special teams coach. 4. He has many mooney kids on the team. 5. Who doesn't want to help out the local team win again. 6. Chance to start as Freshman. I believe the only way he wouldn't go if he got a full ride somewhere else and not a full ride to YSU. My son is very good friends with the young man and he has said A.J is interested in YSU.

DB Eric Patterson from Plant HS, the same school with one of the Nation's saught after recruit in James Wilder Jr. and QB Phillip Ely,has an offer from YSU.

Love the pick-up of 6'7" Brandon Ferguson from West Branch. The kid will be well over 300 pounds by the time he is a starter at Youngstown and will tower over opposing lines... Another solid pickup by Wolford!
